2. Refund / Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all memberships, session RSVPs, and payments made through Hockey Players Network.

1. Membership Fees

Free memberships (e.g., goaltenders) have no charges and no refunds apply.
Paid memberships (if added in the future) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

2. Session Fees (For Skaters)

Payments for scheduled sessions are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
If Hockey Players Network cancels a session (weather, facility issues, staffing, etc.), skaters will receive:
- Full refund, or
- Credit for a future session

3. Goaltender Cancellation Rules

Goaltenders must cancel at least 48 hours prior to scheduled ice time.
NO-SHOWS or late cancellations result in a 1-year loss of RSVP privileges.
No financial penalty applies because goaltender sessions are free, but suspension rules are strictly enforced.

4. Skater Cancellations

If a skater cannot attend a session they paid for, payments are non-refundable.
Skaters may transfer their spot to another eligible player if approved by staff (optional rule — tell me if you’d like it removed).

5. Event Cancellations

If we cancel a session or event:

We will notify all registrants by email.
Refunds or credits will be processed within 5–7 business days.
